| Chocolate and Cinnamon Milk Rice Pudding 6 oz Good plain chocolate
3 tb Short grain rice
2 oz Sugar
1 1 pint full fat milk
1 Cinnamon stick
Knob of butter
Freshly grated nutmeg
2 tb Clotted cream
Chocolate to grate
Place your rinsed rice in a buttered ovenproof dish (1 1/2 pint volume) and
sprinkle over the sugar. Heat the milk with the chocolate gently and then
pour over the rice and add the cinnamon stick. Finally scatter over the
butter and a little grated nutmeg.
Bake in the oven for about 2 hours at 150C/gas 2.
When you serve this dish, try adding a little clotted cream on the top of
each bowl, topped with grated chocolate. |
